Lodgings: Motels and Cabins

Like any other service, between north of Johnstown and south of Malone, about 160 miles, there are no large or chain motels. The Adirondacks specializes in ownner operated motel establishments. You can still find good, reasonably priced cabin rentals by the night. Cabin rentals are a great way to get privacy on a budget. Most are small places with less than 20 rooms, so you don't feel like you are just a chicken in a huge coop.
